SMS 4 Professionals: Industry Professional SMS Tool
Introduction
SMS 4 Professionals is a mobile communications service developed by Qualitone. SMS 4 Professionals was released in 2004, and has been tested extensively on the supported operating systems. It is currently used by professionals in the medical, retail, health, beauty and financial industries.
Users subscribe to the service by paying a monthly subscription fee. The program provides unique functionality and features that enables them to utilise
SMS to its maximum potential. The system is fully integrated with Clickatell and messages can be sent using http, ftp or smtp.
The following features are available:
- The program can be customized to fulfil the needs of any individual, business, branch or department.
- The software includes message templates that can be customized according to each users requirements.
- A calendar and appointment scheduling system is included that is directly linked to the SMS service. Alternatively a Microsoft Outlook calendar can be used.
- Each desktop application includes its own database for storing contact information, address lists and message templates.
- Thousands of Bulk SMS messages can be sent. Groups of contacts can be created, edited, sorted and duplicate numbers removed before sending.
- The system can be linked to premium rated SMS services where cost of SMS messages is billed to users that respond to a short code number, e.g. 36665 (Enterprise solution).
- Return messages can be redirected to the users email address or cell phone.
- The program can be implemented on a network so that appointments are updated and messages sent from multiple workstations.
- SMS 4 Professionals creates a live communication channel to the users desktop where advertisements, news letters, program updates, links to a website and any other information can be displayed.
- Detailed statistical and billing information are updated in real time.
- Multiple accounts tracking and billing can be provided to different branches or departments in a large organization.
- Contact information from existing databases can be exported to SMS 4 Professionals for bulk SMS messaging.
- The system is reliable and messages delivered fast. It has been vigorously tested on numerous computers and operating systems. It is live and currently in use by various professionals, mostly in the medical industry.
- Built-in security features prohibit users from abusing the system. E.g. a limited number of messages per user per day can be set.
- Accelerated / automated error notification to SMS 4 support is provided. If a problem occurs we usually know about it before the customer can pick up a phone!
- Bulk email notifications and news letters can be sent using the template driven bulk emailing tool.
- Two way communications
- A dedicated reply number (normal or premium rated) can be allocated to each client. Messages sent from a cell phone to this number is processed and forwarded to the clients internal systems.
Such messages can trigger a response or specific action on the clients computer system depending on a keyword in the message (Enterprise solution).
