Introduction
Shrimp2me is a sophisticated reminder tool that offers several unique selling propositions. Reminders may be scheduled for any of a wide range of options. When a reminder message (a Shrimplet) is sent to the user's screen it appears as a banner at the top of the screen. This banner does not take focus from the user's current application thus avoiding one of the major annoyances of other reminder tools.
The Shrimplets may also be scheduled to be sent, via Clickatell, to one or more mobile phones. Shrimplets sent to the screen may be "spoken" if desired. Included with Shrimp2me is Shrimp2SMS,a stand alone program that allows SMS text messages to be sent immediately to one or more mobile phones, again using Clickatell. Text messages sent by Shrimp2me or Shrimp2SMS may be tracked using those programs.
